Dr Rebecca Micallef enrolled in the Law Course at the University of Malta in September 2013. She graduated Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2017 after submitting her research project entitled ‘An appraisal of embryo freezing in the light of Comparative Law and European Court of Human Rights Decisions’ which dealt with the ‘then’ controversial subject of embryo-freezing within Maltese Legislation.
Subsequently, she completed her Master of Advocacy degree at the University of Malta in 2018. Rebecca was admitted to the bar to practice as a lawyer in Malta in 2019.
Prior to joining Dr Werner & Partner Rebecca interned at a Law Firm specialising in Criminal Litigation and obtained a great understanding of the interpretation of the Laws of Malta, familiarised herself with Maltese and European Jurisprudence and expanded her drafting skills.
Dr Micallef has served as Vice President and as Secretary in two local committees. Such roles provided her with a great background in leadership skills, delegation of tasks, minute taking, and record keeping.
Rebecca joined Dr Werner & Partner as a Lawyer in 2018.
