Our Legal Team is led by Dr Joerg Werner, a German Lawyer, and is composed of a number of Maltese Lawyers who are all specialised in different legal sectors. No, there is no need for you to be physically present in Malta. The Code of Organisation and Civil Procedure (Cap. 12 of the Laws of Malta) provides for such instances and allows attorneys to appear on behalf of people who are absent from the Maltese Islands. To this end, you may provide us with a power of attorney and we may be able to act on your behalf.
There is no set deadline for when such matters may be closed off and hence, we can never provide an approximate date when proceedings may be terminated.
